Doctoral programme
The curriculum of the doctoral programme in Philosophy in the Humanities, Cultural Sciences, Philosophy, and Education and Human Development (of 23 April 2009), which entered into force on 1 October 2009, connects the doctoral subjects with regular bachelor's and master's programmes. Therefore, it is not possible to obtain a doctoral degree in Numismatics and Monetary History.
However, it is possible to complete a doctoral programme in a related discipline, such as history, classical archaeology, ancient history, prehistoric and protohistoric archaeology, etc., while focusing doctoral research on a numismatic subject with supervision at the Department of Numismatics and Monetary History.
Students who started their doctoral studies before the current curriculum entered into force (on 1 October 2009) are entitled to complete their studies by 30 September 2017 or transfer to the new, current curriculum voluntarily, by means of a simple declaration.
